SVdP Friends Information
The Friends of St. Vincent de Paul St. Timothy Conference Youth Service (Friends) is a Catholic youth service under the governance and leadership of St. Timothy SVdP Conference founded at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Mesa, Arizona. Our Mission is to nurture young hearts in the Catholic faith and empower them to live their faith through service following the example of St. Vincent de Paul.
Our Vision is to raise up a new generation of compassionate leaders who live their Catholic faith through acts of love, humility, and service. Our target group is Catholic youth in grades 4–8 from St. Timothy Parish and local schools, with outreach to friends interested in exploring service and Catholic community life.
Our plan is to schedule service activities at least once a month. Dates will vary based on the scheduled service events. Most activities will take place off-site and may require the presence of a parent or guardian volunteer.

• Open to youth in grades 4–8 • All events are service-focused and may be off-site • Advance signup is required. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is excited to announce the launch of Friends of St. Vincent de Paul St. Timothy Conference Youth Service, a new faith-based service opportunity for youth in grades 4–8 at St. Timothy Catholic Church.
This youth service is rooted in the mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and guided by Catholic social teaching. Through age-appropriate, hands-on service projects, our youth will learn to live out their faith by serving neighbors in need, growing in compassion, and deepening their understanding of Christ’s call to love and serve others.
